SpiritWing has been MBU’s leading contemporary Christian vocal group for over 30 years and remains unique in sound, worshipful in approach, and Christ-centered in focus. SpiritWing has three teams with one mission: to lead campus and community in musical praise and proclamation to God!
Blue Team is the primary band for on-campus chapel services. They rehearse Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30-11 a.m.
Green Team is a full worship band that travels and leads several on-campus events throughout the year. They rehearse Thursdays from 4-7 p.m.
Red Team is an acoustic band that travels and leads several on-campus events throughout the year. They rehearse Thursdays from 4-7 p.m.
To audition for SpiritWing, submit an audition video to ministrygroups@mobap.edu. The audition should consist of two contrasting worship songs in any style that best showcases your musical contribution. All voice types and instruments are welcome to apply. Participants in SpiritWing will receive a scholarship.
