Give

Through your gift, we can empower our students to shine brightly and lead our world.

Previous generations of MBU graduates have embraced the call to be the light of the world, and in so doing, have profoundly impacted the communities in which they serve. That clarion call rings true today. MBU occupies a unique position at the crossroads of faith and academic excellence, and we welcome your support as we strive to become an exceptional Christian University.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE

“I could not imagine myself anywhere else. Being surrounded by a Christian community has helped me in my personal growth and spiritual growth–that is the best thing about Missouri Baptist University. At first, I wasn’t sure if I would be able to come to this school, but the scholarships I received through donations helped me get here. This school is a blessing.”
-Lily Williams, Freshman

“After touring MBU my junior year of high school, I had this overwhelming feeling that this is where I was going to be. I knew I wanted to attend MBU and the scholarship I received really helped that dream become a reality. MBU has given me a sense of community that, growing up, I never really had. I am so thankful for this opportunity and for the donors who provided me the funds to experience MBU.
– Nicholas Kelly, Sophomore

“I don’t think there are words that could express my gratitude. I came from a single-mother household with not a lot of money, so this opportunity means a lot to me.”
-Micah Lee, Junior

“MBU has changed my life in so many ways. I truly feel like I belong. I live at MBU, I work at MBU and I go to church at MBU–this school has given me a community. Without the donations, I would have a harder time being here.”
-Grace Covington, Sophomore

GIVING CAMPAIGNS

A gift to MBU is a meaningful investment in MBU’s bold vision. Each giving campaign empowers MBU to fulfill its calling to invest in students through a distinctive Christ-centered education.

MBU Fund

The MBU Fund is the foundation of MBU’s ability to provide an affordable education coupled with the excellence of the MBU experience. Gifts to this fund help continue MBU’s heritage of outstanding teaching by investing in Christ-focused faculty and and dynamic student programming.

Capital Projects

Capital Projects help to expand MBU’s campus, providing exciting opportunities for the MBU community to interact and forge the ties that bind alumni, students and the many members who make up the Spartan Family. The current priority fundraising project includes the Baseball/Softball Complex Improvement Campaign. The MBU Baseball/Softball Complex Improvement Campaign is intended to give alumni, family, faculty, staff and friends of MBU Baseball and Softball a meaningful way to contribute to a new Field Complex, bleachers, concessions, restrooms, field improvements and a press box on MBU’s beautiful, sixty-six acre West County campus. MBU’s current baseball/softball fields are in great need of renovation. The field and lack of an athletic facility do not compliment the stellar reputation of MBU’s baseball and softball programs. Our goal is to build upon the reputation of both teams and build a facility and enhance the fields to match the caliber of the teams. These renovations will support and enhance their ability to compete for conference and national championships as well as help MBU recruit student athletes to join the program.

Endowments

Investment in endowment will lay a foundation upon which future generations will grow in their knowledge and pursuit of their life’s calling. Growth in MBU’s endowment supports efforts to attract and retain exceptional faculty, sustain world-class research, and ensure deserving students from across the country and around the world have access to a transformational Christian education.

Scholarships

Year after year, MBU tuition remains competitive with its peer institutions. However, many MBU students, who increasingly come from a range of socioeconomic backgrounds, find meeting tuition a challenge. Scholarships and endowments help keep an MBU education affordable.

Spartan Athletics

MBU’s athletics programs have grown into becoming a leading University in the NAIA. Our student-athletes have the unique opportunity to excel in athletics in a Christ-honoring way and graduate fully-prepared to excel in a career.

Society of Fine Arts

When students study the arts at MBU, they work under a world-class faculty in one of St. Louis’ premiere fine arts facilities. They pursue their God-given talents and learn how to edify Christ through the arts.
