Master of Social Work (MSW) Program Full-Time Faculty Position - Missouri Baptist University

Missouri Baptist University invites applications for a full-time faculty position in the Master of Social Work (MSW) program. The full-time faculty position is available with a start date of August, 2024.


The faculty is responsible for:

1.     Teaching graduate-level courses in the MSW Program.

2.     Conducting reviews of MSW applicants.

3.     Providing professional advising to MSW students.

4.     Ensuring compliance with all CSWE Educational Policy and Accreditation Standards.

5.     Maintaining regular communication with the Associate Dean of the School of Social Work, Director of Field Education, faculty, staff, students, and community partners.

6.     Providing related services to the MSW Program and University. Additional faculty responsibilities may include curriculum and program development, events planning, committee service, and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. An earned master’s degree in social work from a CSWE-accredited institution and two years post-masters practice experience, preferably at a faith-based non-profit organization.

2. Embrace a student-centered approach and have a strong passion for serving students.

3. Demonstrate strong engagement, relationship-building, communication/public speaking, and interpersonal skills.

This is a full-time faculty position with benefits, based on the Main campus of Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis, MO.
