Ashlee Johnson - Missouri Baptist University

Vice President for University Advancement

Johnson serves as the Vice President for Advancement, in charge of alumni and parent engagement, career development and in developing relationships with individual donors, alumni, foundations and corporations for the purpose of securing major gifts for the University. Ashlee has served at MBU for the past 10 years and prior to her work at MBU, served as the Executive Director at Habitat for Humanity of St. Charles County (5 years) and as a regional coordinator for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (7 years).

In addition to Ashlee’s work experience in the nonprofit sector, she received a Masters Degree in nonprofit administration from Lindenwood University and is also a Certified Fundraising Executive, CFRE.

Ashlee leads the University’s development efforts and, more recently, is providing strategic leadership to the new capital and endowment fundraising campaign approved by the Board of Trustees last fall. Johnson is a member of the President’s Cabinet at MBU, serves as chair of the Chief Institutional Advancement Officers Commission for the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities and attends Waypoint Church with her family in Saint Charles, Missouri. She and her husband Rick have two children and two step children; Matt, Kaylee, Anna and Jake.
