MBU partners with Fresh Ideas as new dining service provider; announces dining hall renovations

Fresh Ideas, an innovative food service management company, was recently selected as the new dining service provider for Missouri Baptist University.

“MBU is pleased to partner with Fresh Ideas as we seek to deliver a reimagined dining experience on our campus,” said Dr. Keith Ross, MBU president. “This partnership will provide our campus community with high-quality, healthy food options, increased variety and innovative concepts.”

Fresh Ideas is collaborating with Missouri Baptist University leadership to transform the dining experience. In the fall, students and campus guests will experience a newly renovated dining hall. Not only will the dining hall have a new look, but it will feature new culinary concept stations with menu items created by the on-site executive chef and the Fresh Ideas culinary team.

Additionally, the Missouri Baptist University campus will have access to Fresh on Demand, a micro-market vending option fully stocked with fresh food 24/7. This modern kiosk will be an additional option for all students, faculty and staff and is ideal for commuter students and athletes who need more flexibility for evening meals.

Fresh Ideas knows what Gen Z craves and showcases this in their ability to meet special dietary needs as well as offering innovative technology solutions. “We’ll ensure students, faculty and staff have access to our FreshX mobile app,” said Brian Dittmer, Regional Director of Operations for Fresh Ideas. Fit for iOS and Android devices, FreshX allows students to track their meal plan, mobile order, access 24-hour fresh food vending options via Fresh on Demand, stay updated with the latest menu items and specials, and much more.

“We believe that good food takes people on a journey and creates lasting relationships, which is a reflection of our new partnership with Missouri Baptist University,” said Kris Lensmeyer, Chief Innovation and Experience Officer for Fresh Ideas. “We’re excited about the future and can’t wait to get started.”
