As a way to thank educators for their tireless commitment throughout the pandemic, MBU is implementing a temporary tuition reduction in graduate-level education programs for MBU School of Education alumni.
“This is a way MBU can show our gratitude to the many selfless educators who have graduated from MBU,” said Dr. Tammy Cox, dean of the School of Education. “The level of commitment our alumni educators have shown to their students over the last year as they have navigated virtual, in-person and, at times, both types of learning, is inspiring.”
The “School of Education Welcome Home Scholarship,” provides a discounted tuition rate of $497 per credit hour, which is a more than 25 percent discount for students attending main campus. In addition, eligible students will also receive the University’s graduate alumni discount of $750 a semester.
To be eligible for the scholarship, one must be either a new or returning student in the fall 2021 semester. MBU School of Education alumni who received a bachelor’s degree in education pursuing the following graduate programs qualify for the scholarship:
- Master of Arts in Teaching (non-initial cert),
- Master of Science in Education
- Master of Educational Administration
- Master of Educational Technology
- Master of Arts in School Counseling
“As we begin to think about life post-COVID-19, there has never been a better time for MBU alumni to complete their graduate degree at the University they love,” Cox added.
