LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

Prospective Students: If a prospective student is considering an academic program that leads to a professional license in his/her home state, other than Missouri, it is highly recommended that he/she first seek guidance from the appropriate licensing/certifying agency in his/her home state BEFORE beginning an academic program located outside his/her state. It is the student’s responsibility to contact the appropriate licensing board in his/her home state to confirm whether or not a Missouri Baptist University program will meet the requirements for certification/licensure in his/her state of residency. Missouri Baptist University wants you to have the best educational experience possible in your time as a student.  If you experience a problem, or have a concern or complaint, you may inform any staff member and expect prompt assistance. Missouri Baptist University desires to resolve student grievances, complaints and concerns in an efficient, fair and amicable manner. Complaints regarding any aspect of MBU operations will receive prompt attention when filed directly with university’s authorities.

Filing a Complaint with the Higher Learning Commission

The U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR) has posted a technical assistance video, How to File a Complaintto help parents, families, students, and stakeholders better understand how they can file a complaint with OCR.
