The Pillsbury Chapel and Dale Williams Fine Arts Center

The Pillsbury Chapel and Dale Williams Fine Arts Center provides an exceptional performance setting with the Pillsbury Chapel, which seats approximately 960 people. The space is used frequently throughout the academic year for concerts, showcases, theatrical productions and lectures as well as Spartan Preview Days and weekly chapel services. The Pillsbury Chapel and Dale Williams Fine Arts Center also houses the following spaces:

Mabee Great Hall

The Great Hall serves as an open space for banquets and other special events. The Great Hall provides a view of campus through large windows and also operates as an alternative performance venue.

Don and Mary Pillsbury Wainwright Performance Hall

Housed in the Pillsbury Chapel and Dale Williams Fine Arts Center, the Don and Mary Pillsbury Wainwright Performance Hall acts as a multi-purpose area for classes, intimate concerts, voice recitals, ministry team rehearsals and worship meetings. It provides an environment prime for interaction and is acoustically designed to provide natural sound projection and tone.

Gallery

The Gallery, adjacent to the Performance Hall and Pillsbury Chapel, acts as a small reception area. The space also serves as a meeting area and is set up for featuring showcase pieces.

Rotunda & Patio

The rotunda is a campus visual landmark, surrounded by glass and prominently displayed, highlighting the grand staircase. The spacious patio offers a place for students to meet and is also used for outdoor events.

Classrooms

Classrooms contain top of the line technology with room for 35 students per class. Incorporating tables instead of individual desks gives students an opportunity for more group activity and interaction. Equipped in each room, projectors and computers add excellent presentation and teaching elements.

Carl & Deloris Petty Sports and Recreation Complex

The Carl & Deloris Petty Sports and Recreation Complex raises the level of excellence in campus life through enhanced recreation facilities. Our fitness center includes strength training and cardiovascular equipment, an indoor track, a group fitness studio equipped to offer a wide variety of classes, student and athletic locker rooms, and much more.

Lounge

The lounge offers several gathering spaces and an inviting seating area for students to study and interact, complete with a large flat-screen television.

Indoor Track

The floating indoor track allows recreational walkers and runners a birds-eye view of the gymnasium.

Group Fitness Room

The group fitness room, complete with a surround sound system and mirrored walls, offers a beautiful eastern view of campus.  Students, faculty and staff may participate in a variety of group fitness offerings designed to exercise the body and mind.

Spartan Hall

Spartan Hall welcomes guests to the Sports and Recreation Complex with its spacious design and ample natural light.  The University seal draws the eye to the center of the Hall’s polished floor, beautifully representing the Missouri Baptist University Spartan tradition of excellence.

J.E. & L.E. Mabee Foundation Courtyard

A grand archway leads guests to the courtyard adjacent to the Sports & Recreation Complex.  The open outdoor area is a great space to get some fresh air, relax and admire the growing MBU landscape.

Lacey Gymnasium

The state of the art gymnasium is home to the Missouri Baptist Spartans NAIA Division 1 basketball, volleyball and wrestling teams. With the ability to seat 1,000 guests, a digital control system, premium flooring and electric bleachers, the gym adds a top notch collegiate athletics facility to campus.

Fitness Center

The spacious fitness center offers free weights, weight machines, and cardiovascular machines- everything needed to help improve flexibility, develop strength, tone muscles and improve overall health and wellness.  State of the art equipment, over-sized flat screen televisions and great music gives patrons a workout experience to look forward to again and again.

ThePerk

ThePerk is MBU’s 3,000 square foot, full-service coffeehouse located in the quad.
