Financial Aid – FAFSA

To apply for federal student aid, you need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid or FAFSA. Completing the FAFSA is free and it gives you access to the largest source of financial aid to help pay for college expenses. Your FAFSA is also used to determine eligibility for state and institutional aid.

It’s important to file the new FAFSA as soon as possible after October 1st each year. State and college based financial aid is given out on a first-come, first-served basis. Undergraduate Missouri resident students who submit their FAFSA by February 1st receive priority consideration for available state grants.

How to complete a FAFSA

Step 1 – Create an FSA ID – https://studentaid.gov/

  • This allows you to electronically sign your FAFSA.
  • Students and parents each need to apply for their own FSA ID.

Step 2 – File the FAFSA online at https://studentaid.gov/

  • Use your Federal Income Tax information from two years ago.
  • IMPORTANT: Our Title IV school code is 007540. (This allows us access to your information).

File your 2023-2024 FAFSA now.
Priority deadline for Missouri grant eligibility: February 1st.
