MBU alumnus Jeff Wells (Psychology ’91) has been spreading the gospel in a unique way for the past 13 years. Working with Action Ministry International, Wells has been given the opportunity to share Christ’s love internationally through the summer and winter Olympics ever since the Sydney, Australia games in 2000. Wells and his team witness to thousands of people from more 35 countries around the globe during his trips to the world’s signature sporting event. He has seen legions of people from around the world come to know Christ.

Wells attended the Sochi, Russia games this past winter and is already planning to attend the summer Olympics in Rio De Janeiro. While at the Olympics, he gives away Jesus pins to athletes and spectators—allowing him to share the gospel with as many as 100 people a day. When Wells is not attending the Olympics, he’s likely carrying out the same mission close to home. Wells is currently the pastor of Cross Keys Baptist Church in Florissant, Mo. A story of shining on.
