Bio: Jonathan White moved to St. Louis from Nashville, TN in 2006, to begin working as MBU’s campus minister. White is charged with molding students’ spiritual formation, overseeing Student Ministries Council and finding opportunities for students in local and foreign ministries and missions. White formerly served as the college pastor of The Church at Crosspoint in Murfreesboro, TN. While there, he founded Bonhoeffer’s Coffee Shop, a full coffee bar and ministry located adjacent to Middle Tennessee State University. He also led various mission trips to Puerto Rico, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Romania, and England. White has been married to his wife Melissa for 19 years. They have three children: Leah, Austin and Brady.
Hobbies: Spending time with family, drinking coffee, watching man movies with my family, traveling, and being bald.

Die to yourself and follow Christ everyday.

Allowing God to be Lord of my life and doing whatever Jesus has in store while holding a grande coffee.

What is your advice to an incoming MBU student? Get involved. Go to events, and you will make friends and begin to have a family like structure here on campus. Don’t be afraid to start new relationships.

What is your advice to an incoming MBU student? MBU will be as fun or as boring as you make it. Find what you’re passionate about and get involved.
What are your life goals? To serve God and love people. (But also to be a high powered businesswoman who wears a suit and heels and lives in downtown Chicago).
What is an original fact about you? It is my personal goal to never ride the shuttle on campus. Two years and going strong.

Where do you see yourself in ten years? Maybe working in a big city, maybe in full-time missions. Who can say?
