Summary:
The Student Ministry Worship Intern will develop a student worship program and assist the Student Pastor in the spiritual development of the student ministry.

Job Responsibilities & Duties:
The Student Ministry Worship Intern is responsible for leading all worship-related aspects of the service included, but not limited to
1. Developing a student worship team
a. Leading a weekly worship service and practice
b. Teaching a Biblical foundation of worship
2. Coordinating sound team
3. Creating a worshipful environment including, but not limited to singing and music

The Children’s Ministry Intern is to act as a functioning staff member assisting with the

The ideal candidate will be highly relational, creative, and have a passion for the spiritual development of both parents and their children. This position works under the supervision of the Director of Children’s Ministries.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

Ministry

  • Provide leadership through meeting with the Children’s Ministry Director to plan,create & carry out Sunday morning and Wednesday evening programming in Harvester Kidz.
  • Continue to learn and grow as a leader by using various means to stay current and fresh.
  • Assist in coordinating and organizing events such as VBX, Fam Jam, Camp Kidjam, Leadership meetings and other activities as directed by the Children’s Ministry Director.
  • Represent the Generations Ministry well to our team leaders, parents, kids, and
    church.
  • Represent Christ, the Church, and the Generations Ministry well to our Community.
  • Skilled communicator with the ability to lead and teach others.

    for students and adult leaders as directed by the Student Pastor
  • Continue to learn and grow as a leader by using various means to stay current and fresh.
  • Recruit, develop/equip, and guide students spiritually as they use their talents/gifts to participate in ministry.
  • Oversee all mid-week gatherings, as well as camps, retreats, and mission trips by providing appropriate leadership experiences for each environment.
  • Responsible for training, developing, valuing, working with and caring for students who take leadership roles in the ministry
  • Coordinates and organizes events, trips, retreats, etc as directed by the Student Pastor
  • Schedule meetings with leaders, students & parents as needed
