The Faith and Service Office seeks to equip students to bring about societal change by modeling servant leadership and equipping students to serve in a variety of contexts. We desire to see students, faculty, and staff serving in their communities and around the world for the glory of God and the good of others. Opportunities for service are listed below:
MBU will host its first Spring Service Day on Thursday, April 4, 2019. The Faith and Service Office is partnering with the several university offices and student organizations to host a day committed to serving those in need here in STL and around the world. We will be working with preparing stuffed animals with Sharing Smiles, collecting used clothes for Threads, packing backpacks with school supplies, and collecting items for the MBU Sharing Shop.

Previous Service Days
In connection with the Presidential Inauguration, the Faith and Service Office is partnering with various offices in the University to host the first annual Fall Service Day. This fall, we are working with two organizations: Kids Against Hunger and Sharing Smiles. During the Inaugural Service Day, students, faculty, staff, and friends of MBU can help package meals for those in need and prepare stuffed animals to be given to kids in a local children’s hospital. Lunch, drinks, and live music will also be available on the Quad.
