The Dean of Students (DOS) Office supports the academic and co-curricular mission of the University through student advocacy, services, and programs that promote the general welfare of students and fosters a campus climate conducive to learning and responsible citizenship. The primary goals of the Dean of Students Office are to provide opportunities for personal development, encourage wellness among students, protect student rights, and promote ethical behavior. The Dean of Students Office facilitates the advising of the Student Government Association, Counseling Services, Parent Engagement, Title IX, and the Student Conduct system. Additionally, the office oversees the student policies and procedures, professional development for staff in the division of student development, and strategic initiatives.
Membership matters and when we enter into a community we commit to one another to uphold characteristics, standards, and values of the individual and the collective. Missouri Baptist University offers the Spartan Virtues as the central document for the rights, responsibilities, Code of Conduct and other policies governing students.
We encourage our community of Spartans to reach out for support and report or refer a student of concern, dangerous or disruptive behavior, issues of academic integrity & honesty, or other behavior that may negatively impact the campus community and beyond. Some of these reporting options and resources are confidential. If you have questions or concerns about which may be the appropriate reporting option, do not hesitate to contact the Office of Community Accountability at firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more.
Please remember, these reporting forms are not monitored 24/7. If this is an emergency or you need immediate assistance, please call 911 or Public Safety at 314-744-5355.
