Missouri Baptist University has partnered with select Chick-fil-A restaurants in the St. Louis region to offer team members a tuition-free bachelor’s degree beginning with the fall 2022 semester. The partnership includes the following areas of study in our fully online undergraduate programs:
4. Chick-fil-A pays for your tuition!
Missouri Baptist University has partnered with select Chick-fil-A locations in the Greater St. Louis region. If you are Chick-fil-A team member employed at a participating location then you are eligible for the tuition assistance benefit. To confirm if your Chick-fil-A location participates in this partnership with MBU, please ask your location’s General Manager. You must also meet requirements for admission at MBU in order to enroll in classes. Once you apply at apply.mobap.edu, an enrollment counselor will assist you through the admission process.
Each eligible student is required to complete both the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Chick-fil-A Remarkable Futures Scholarship application each academic year. Once these have been completed, MBU will award any federal or state financial aid that the student is eligible to receive (for example, the Pell Grant) and Chick-fil-A will pay any remaining tuition balance, at no cost to the student.
The total cost of tuition for an online undergraduate degree program is covered. Students will be responsible for any textbook or course material fees and any add/drop fees. If a student is terminated or resigns from employment at Chick-fil-A, the student will be responsible for any tuition and fees for future 8-week terms.
MBU offers online, asynchronous classes designed with flexibility in mind. This means that students are not required to log into a class at a specific time or attend lectures at a scheduled time. Online courses have set start and end dates, and deadlines to submit assignments, but students can complete coursework day or night, when it is most convenient for their busy schedule. Most online classes are offered in an 8-week format, and students can begin taking classes at the start of any 8-week term!
If you need help with anything related to the MBU application, enrollment, or class selection process, please email online@mobap.edu to be connected to a counselor at MBU. If you need help determining eligibility for the program or anything related to your employment with Chick-fil-A, please contact your location’s General Manager.
