After admission to Missouri Baptist University, undergraduate students are assigned to an academic advisor. The advisor plays a vital role in helping the student to develop long range academic and career plans and to select semester class schedules. While it is ultimately the responsibility of the student to monitor their progress toward satisfying the requirements for their respective degrees, the academic advisor serves an important role in mentoring the student throughout the process. The advisor must also give approval for all schedule adjustments, overloads, inter-institutional registrations (consortium), and directed studies. So just who is this advisor? Find out by logging into Spartan Space. Your academic advisor will be listed at the top of the “My Schedule” page for the current academic term.
