Notable Preacher Joel C. Gregory Announced as Featured Guest for MBU Fall Speaker Series
Respected preacher Joel C. Gregory will join Missouri Baptist University for the annual Fall Speaker Series, Oct. 7-9. The series will include daily services, all beginning at 11 a.m. in the Pillsbury Chapel.
Gregory currently serves as the Professor of Preaching at George W. Truett Theological Seminary at Baylor University and is a distinguished fellow at Georgetown College. He has authored several works including his memoir, “Too Great A Temptation,” which was later turned into a play, “God’s Man in Texas.”
The professor served two terms as President of the Baptist General Convention of Texas, preached for the syndicated International Baptist Hour and pastored several churches, including First Baptist Church of Dallas. Throughout the year, Gregory travels internationally to speak at churches and conferences. The sought-after speaker preached nearly 200 sermons in the past year.
