MBU Media Talk announces Mercy VP as February speaker

Bob Davidson, Mercy vice president of community relations – integrated marketing, will continue the 2017-2018 MBU Media Talk series as the guest speaker on February 13.
The free speaker series will take place in the Don & Mary Pillsbury Wainwright Performance Hall of MBU’s Pillsbury Chapel and Dale Williams Fine Arts Center from noon to 1 p.m.

Bob Davidson, Vice President, Community Relations – Integrated Marketing for Mercy
Davidson directs community relations at 22 Mercy hospitals across four states. Davidson joined the St. Louis-based health provider in April 2011, just before a major rebranding that unified the healthcare providers and all its facilities under the single Mercy name.
Before joining Mercy, Davidson led the marketing and communications group at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital for 9 years and concurrently served as adjunct professor of communications at Webster University, specializing in media and crisis communications. He also previously worked at Shriners Hospital for Children, St. Louis, Fleishman-Hillard, Inc. and as a newspaper reporter.
Previous Media Talk guests include Susan Gallagher, the Saint Louis Zoo’s director of public relations; KSDK sportscaster Frank Cusumano; and long-time St. Louis Post-Dispatch columnist Bill McClellan.
