Missouri Baptist University Baseball is the main contender for the 2015 NAIA World Series title, according to the main NAIA sports news site, Perfect Game.  The roster, coaching staff and recent success of MBU Baseball led Perfect Game to select MBU as the preseason top team.

The previous two seasons MBU competed in the playoffs for the NAIA World Series. With a seasoned 2015 roster, MBU is expected to improve upon the 2014 season record of 47-14.

Eddie Uschold, the head coach of MBU Baseball for the past 16 years, has lead nearly 600 wins throughout his career. For nine years, Uschold has been honored as the AMC Coach of the Year. He has received the award consecutively for the past five years.

Uschold has coached 29 NAIA All-Americans, 11 NAIA Scholar Athletes, 25 All-Region players and 63 first team All-Conference plays.
