Marcus “Goodie” Goodloe Ph.D. Announced as Featured Guest for MBU Fall Speaker Series

Pastor, author and speaker Marcus “Goodie” Goodloe Ph.D. will join Missouri Baptist University for the annual Fall Speaker Series on Oct. 2-3. There will be services both days beginning at 11 a.m. in the Pillsbury Chapel.
Marcus “Goodie” Goodloe, Ph.D. serves as Teaching Pastor at Parkcrest Church, in Long Beach, California.
He is the author of the 2015 book, “Kingmaker: Applying Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s Leadership Lessons in Working with Athletes and Entertainers,” and co-authored “Habits: Six Steps To The Art of Influence” in 2017.
Additionally, he is an active volunteer of Wave Church, Los Angeles, California, where he heads up the pastoral care team and serves on the speaking team for the other seven Wave Church campuses around the country.
Goodie travels around the country mentoring others on a range of issues including cultural and interpersonal relationships, leadership, team and synergy, character formation, and faith.
He has worked with Fellowship of Christian Athletes at the national and state levels, and professional teams including the NFL’s Oakland Raiders and Green Bay Packers.
Goodie also serves on the Community Engagement Board for Redondo Beach Police Department. Additionally, he continues to work with members of the law enforcement community as well as community activists in efforts to foster better understanding and education, on matters of fairness and justice with respect to the judicial system, and cooperative policing.
Goodie and his wife of over 20 years, Lucy, live in the Los Angeles area and have two children, Hannah Marie (age 16) and Joshua C.H. (age 14).
