Former MBU Student Flame to Visit MBU with “Jesus or Nothing” Tour

Flame, a former MBU student, will once again be on campus, but this time as an accomplished guest.

The Grammy and Dove award-nominated Christian hip-hop artist, along with Christian author Dan DeWitt, will share their stories and encourage students to focus their lives on Christ during this Thursday’s chapel service.

Flame will begin the service by performing music from his new album, “Jesus or Nothing” followed by Dewitt sharing the gospel.

The “Jesus of Nothing” tour coincides with the culture of Missouri Baptist University. “The Jesus or Nothing tour speaks directly to all of us, especially college students,” said Jonathan White, the campus minister for the University. “The truth in scripture really is ‘It’s all about Jesus and nothing else matters’. Flame and Dan were both impacted by Jesus in college and so they naturally bring genuine testimonies relatable to students.”

Dan DeWitt (PhD, Southern Seminary) is the dean of Boyce College, the undergraduate school of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he teaches courses on worldview, philosophy, apologetics, and C.S. Lewis. His upcoming book is also titled, “Jesus or Nothing.”

Flame is a Christian hip hop artist with a degree in biblical counseling and a growing list of accolades including five Dove Award Nominations, three Stellar Award nominations and a GRAMMY® nomination.
