Verification is a process of reviewing specific information from your FAFSA. The government generally selects the applications they need Financial Aid Administrators to review, as well as the specific information that needs verified.
Sometimes a school will select an application on its own if there is reason to believe the information from your FAFSA is incorrect. If additional information is required, the instructions and additional forms needed will be provided to you.
On this page, you will find forms for each type of information you are required to verify. Within the form, additional information might be requested, such as tax return information. You will also find guides and instructions to help you collect or fill out the forms you provide.

2015 income information is used for both the 2016-17 & 2017-18 school years due to changes in federal law. All future FAFSA’s will use tax information from two years prior.
