Spartan Strong: MBU on Campus

Spartan Strong: MBU on Campus

FALL 2021

MBU re-opened our campus last fall while offering the unique “MBU experience” so many of you desire to the fullest extent possible. This fall, we plan to do the same.

While MBU is encouraging students, faculty and staff to get vaccinated prior to the fall semester, the University does not plan to require members of our community to receive the COVID-19 vaccination.

Following the St. Louis County mask requirement announced July 23, face coverings will again be required while in public indoor spaces at Missouri Baptist University’s main campus.

The mask requirement goes into effect Monday, July 26. It applies to people five years of age and older, including those who are vaccinated.

The University will still continue to take the following precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19:

  • All individuals who visit one of MBU’s campuses must complete the daily Spartan Safe App screening.
  • Each in-person group meeting should maintain attendance records for contact tracing.
  • Quarantine and isolation protocols will be kept in place.

Below are overarching changes and decisions that, to date, have resulted from our planning:
