Missouri Baptist University (MBU) is a Christ-centered university located in Saint Louis, Missouri. The School of Business at MBU’s main campus is now accepting applications for a full time Assistant or Associate Professor in Cybersecurity/Information Technology to teach face-to-face and online formats beginning in August 2023. A Doctorate degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or closely related field with a master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or closely related field is preferred. A business-related doctorate that includes 15 credit hours or more in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or Computer Science specific courses with a master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or closely related field will be considered. The masters and doctorate degrees are required to have been conferred at an ACBSP or AACSB accredited institution(s).
Teaching experience at the college level with competency in LMS is preferred. Special consideration will be given to candidates with expertise in Cybersecurity and Application Development. Candidates with technology/computer science related certifications, knowledge of the certification processes, and industry experience are a plus. The applicant must be able to relate to and engage students, be a program builder, and be able to develop partnerships in the technology and business communities. Additional responsibilities include student advisement and mentoring, committee assignments, service to the community, scholarly activity, and other duties as assigned by the Dean of the School of Business.
