Ricardo Camargo de Felice Martin

HOMETOWN: Sao Paulo, Brazil

DEGREE: Undecided

"When I first came to MBU, I struggled to make friends. After a few weeks, I realized how nice people were being to me: giving me advice, helping me with classes, and anything else I needed. Today I can say that being at MBU is like being at home. I am happy I chose MBU and I am sure that everything I am experiencing today will help me in the future, not only in a job, but in my personal life as well."

Rebecca Morrow

HOMETOWN: Ilo, Peru and Cookstown, Northern Ireland

DEGREE: B.A. in Management, minor in Business Administration and focus on International Studies

"I heard about MBU through another Peruvian student who was studying here and a family friend thought it seemed like a good fit—it was! Being at a smaller university means that I am able to get to know my professors better and have a greater learning experience because they take a personal interest in me and my goals. I love the diversity on campus because I have a chance to share my culture and beliefs as well as learn from others. Faculty, staff and students encourage and challenge me in my faith, which is not something you get at any school. Even though I am away from my family, I have been welcomed home at MBU.”

Nika Juricic

HOMETOWN: Umag, Croatia

DEGREE: Biotechnology

"Studying in America has been a life-changing experience for me. Traveling and being exposed to so many cultures have taught me so much about life and also myself, for that matter. I feel very blessed that I’m able to get a great education and play tennis competitively at the same time.

What I like most about Missouri Baptist University is the overall atmosphere of the campus: students here are hard-working and motivated, professors are encouraging and willing to work with students, and the staff is always helpful and understanding. "
