The EXCEL summer workshop is a one-day event filled with morning professional development sessions for current and new EXCEL teachers and afternoon orientation sessions for new teachers and coordinators. Two dates are available — June 19 or July 17.
* Please note that some sessions will only be offered at one session. Check registration form for more details.
Through the summer workshop sessions, you will benefit from presentations by and discussions with MBU faculty, your faculty liaison, the EXCEL team, and other campus administrators. New teachers will learn what it means to be an EXCEL dual credit teacher and best practices for teaching specific courses. All these events occur in a relaxed atmosphere. A continental breakfast and lunch are part of your day. View Schedule.
Attendees will meet the dual-credit teacher expectations of the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP) as well as new Missouri policy guidelines and Higher Learning Commission guidelines for dual credit. All three organizations require workshop attendance tracking.
