Students considering an external study program may possibly be eligible for financial assistance. Your enrollment in a study abroad program when approved for credit at MBU may be considered enrollment at MBU for purposes of determining your eligibility for federal student aid. After you have spoken with the Director of Study Abroad, you should consult with Financial Services to determine if your program is eligible for assistance and if you qualify individually. Most federal and state aid funds can be applied to semester abroad programs.
