Missouri Baptist University is now accepting applications for the position of Director of University Communications. Reporting to the Vice President for Enrollment, Marketing and University Communications, the Director plays a critical role in the development and execution of the University’s integrated brand strategy. The Director leads a small team of communicators and coordinates the University’s relationships with ad agencies and freelancers. The Director is the primary strategist for developing, producing and overseeing a wide range of multimedia and print content, including the MBU Magazine, aimed at further solidifying the University’s Christ-centered mission in the St. Louis market and beyond. The Director will work as the primary University spokesperson, developing and executing a strategic media relations plan while collaborating with the Vice President for crisis communications. In addition, the Director will work to align all marketing efforts with the University’s strategic enrollment management plan.
