The Humanities Division is seeking a qualified individual to join the English faculty. This position requires a Ph.D. or a D.A. from a regionally accredited institution. We are searching for a generalist who is equipped to teach various English courses and who preferably has expertise in early British literature. The successful candidate will be expected to teach first-year composition classes as part of his or her teaching assignments. In addition to teaching, the responsibilities for this position will include student advising, division and committee assignments, and other duties as assigned by the Division Chair. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills. The English program offers courses at both undergraduate and master’s levels, and a significant number of students pursue a degree in English and Secondary Education.
