Assistant or Associate Professor – Healthcare Management

Location: Main Campus in St. Louis, MO

Missouri Baptist University (MBU) is a Christ-centered university located in Saint Louis, Missouri. The School of Business at MBU’s main campus is seeking a full time Assistant or Associate Professor in Healthcare Management to teach face-to-face courses as well as teach online courses as needed. A Doctorate in Healthcare Management with a Master’s degree in Healthcare Management, and professional experience is preferred. A business doctorate with 15 credit hours or more in Healthcare Management specific courses with a Master’s degree in Healthcare Management will be considered. The Master’s and the Doctorate degrees are required to have been conferred by an ACBSP or AACSB accredited institution(s).

All applicants must have industry experience. Teaching experience at the college level with competency in LMS is required. Applicants will be expected to teach courses in Healthcare, Accounting, Economics, Financial Management, and Business Administration. Candidates with healthcare management related certifications and knowledge of the certification processes are a plus. The applicant must be able to relate to and engage students, be a program builder, and be able to develop partnerships in the healthcare and business communities. Duties for the position include teaching, student advisement, committee assignments, and other duties as assigned by the Dean, School of Business.
