Back in the Saddle Again After Fall Break
October 25, 2007

Fall Break was Oct. 19-22 this year at MBU. Once midterms start rolling around, it’s a sure thing that Fall Break is not too far away. No matter how long the break is, students always seem to think it gets shorter and shorter every year. So it’s best to make the most of it and enjoy the time off from classes.
Is there anything not to like about Fall Break? Clayton McKibbin, a student at MBU, said, “I think that we should get either Thursday or Tuesday off as well, so that we can have a break from our classes on those days.”
Another student, Matt Bryant, said, “There isn't really anything I would change about Fall Break except the fact that teachers give homework over break, not cool at all.” After all, if it is a break, shouldn’t that also include a break not only from classes, but homework as well?
There seemed to be an overall consensus about the plans of MBU students during Fall Break. Everyone needed to catch up on some much-needed rest and relaxation and work on any overdue assignments that were promised to the professor two weeks ago. No worries though. Thanksgiving Break is only 26 days away, and only 50 days until Christmas Break.
