The MBU Chorale is open to all students on campus. The Chorale has distinguished itself by singing at the Missouri State Music Teachers Convention and the Missouri State Choral Directors Association Symposium.

In 2005 the Chorale and Choral Society were featured performers at a Ceremony celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Austrian Independence at Fratres, Austria. Several performances are expected of the group each semester, as the Chorale is in demand in schools and churches statewide.

Repertoire is varied including words of the great masters, selected secular pieces and devotional material allowing the student to praise our Creator through singing. The Chorale and Choral Society combine for major works concerts, including recent performances of Handel’s Messiah, Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Mozart’s Solemn Vespers, Bach’s Magnificat and Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy. Since 2002 the ensembles have also joined together in concert tours of Czech Republic, Austria, and England.
