Education: B.A. from Belmont University in religion and communications, 1995; Master of Arts in Christian Education with a concentration in Collegiate Ministry from Southern Seminary, 2006
Bio: Jonathan White moved to St. Louis from Nashville, TN in 2006, to begin working as MBU’s campus minister. White is charged with molding students’ spiritual formation, overseeing Student Ministries Council and finding opportunities for students in local and foreign ministries and missions. White formerly served as the college pastor of The Church at Crosspoint in Murfreesboro, TN. While there, he founded Bonhoeffer’s Coffee Shop, a full coffee bar and ministry located adjacent to Middle Tennessee State University. He also led various mission trips to Puerto Rico, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Romania, and England. White has been married to his wife Melissa for 17 years. They have three children: Leah, Austin and Brady.
Hobbies: Spending time with family, drinking coffee, watching man movies with my son, traveling, and being bald.

Die to yourself and follow Christ everyday.
What are your life goals? To be whole-hearted for Jesus, to love my wife and to be a daddy to my kids.
What is an original fact about you? I’ve visited Count Dracula’s Castle in Transylvania Romania.
What is your favorite blend of coffee? Straight up Latte from Cafe Nero in England and Christmas Blend from Starbucks.
What is your favorite place on campus? The Perk
Where do you see yourself in ten years?
Allowing God to be Lord of my life and doing whatever Jesus has in store while holding a grande coffee.

What is your advice to an incoming MBU student? If you go to McDonalds, order the value fries instead of the small fries. They are 19 cents cheaper and you get the same amount of fries. You’re welcome.

What is your advice to an incoming MBU student? Get involved. Go to events, and you will make friends and begin to have a family like structure here on campus. Don’t be afraid to start new relationships.

Get into the Bible and get to know Jesus for who He really is, not how the world makes Him out to be.
