Writing Lab
Meet with a writing coach to receive help with brainstorming, structuring a paper, improving grammar, editing, properly citing sources and more. Writing Lab services are free for MBU students.

Spring 2013 schedule:
- Monday: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., 12:30 p.m.-3 p.m.
- Tuesday: 9 a.m.- 12 p.m., 1:30 – 3 p.m.
- Wednesday: 9 a.m.- 3 p.m.
- Thursday: 8 a.m. – 4:30 a.m.
- Friday: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Writing Lab Policy
Please keep in mind that your writing coach will not edit or write your paper for you. Although your main objective may be to perfect one assignment, we hope to strengthen your skills for the challenging papers you have yet to write.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your writing appointment, please call (314) 392-2364. If you miss more than one appointment a semester without contacting us ahead of time, we reserve the right to refuse future service.

Submit Your Paper Online
The Writing Lab offers the option to submit a paper online for students at MBU’s satellite locations. Writing coaches will read up to five pages of your paper and sent it back as a Word attachment via e-mail in about three business days. Writing coaches do not proofread or edit papers, but will identify patterns and provide feedback to aid the writing process. Please limit your online submissions to three papers per semester.
