Meet with a tutor to receive individual help with various topics, at no cost.

Types of Tutoring Available

Walk-In Tutoring

Math:

  1. Monday: 8 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
  2. Tuesday: 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  3. Wednesday: 8 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
  4. Thursday: 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  5. Friday: 8 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Science (Biology and Chemistry):

  1. Monday: 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  2. Tuesday: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  3. Wednesday: 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  4. Thursday: 12 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  5. Friday: 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Tutoring by Appointment

Tutoring by appointment is available in the following subjects. You will need your MBU email to register. You can also call the ASC at (314)392-2364 to set up an appointment.

  1. Accounting
  2. Economics
  3. Greek
  4. Music (Fundamentals, Theory, Ear Training)
  5. Old/New Testament History
  6. Psychology
  7. Spanish

Tutoring is not available during the summer.

Study Sessions
No appointment is necessary to attend a study session. Date and location of study sessions will be announced in class or on Blackboard.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule your tutoring appointment, please call (314) 392-2364. If you miss more than one appointment a semester without contacting us ahead of time, we reserve the right to refuse future service.

Tutor Request

Students desiring tutoring for a subject not listed may submit a request. Tutoring Services will do their best to find a tutor for your specific subject. To submit a request, fill out the Tutor Request Form and drop it off at the ASC.
