MBU launches new outdoor advertising campaign
Missouri Baptist University has launched a broad reaching outdoor advertising campaign in St. Louis and beyond.
The new campaign began this summer and will last until July 2012. The initiative’s cohesive branding and messaging promotes the University’s key distinctions—from its Christ-centered education to its robust online programs and regional learning sites.
The outdoor advertising campaign is part of the University’s 2011-2012 integrated marketing and communication plan.
The outdoor campaign is expected to generate more than 500,000 impressions daily from St. Louis-area residents driving on high-traffic roadways including Manchester Road and highways 44 and 70. As part of the campaign, the University will be “tweeting” messages live on an LED electronic billboard located at Highway 40 in St. Charles County.
The campaign comes at a time when the University is experiencing unprecedented growth. MBU’s new $11 million Sports and Recreation Complex and apartment style housing are set to open this fall.
With more than 5,000 students, Missouri Baptist University is St. Louis’ Christ-centered university. MBU offers more than 40 undergraduate degrees, graduate degrees in education, business, religion, sport management and its new terminal degree, the Doctor of Education. In addition to its 66-acre West St. Louis County campus, MBU offers degree programs at nine regional learning centers throughout St. Louis, in Southern Illinois and online.
