St. Louis Post Dispatch Update on Governor Nixon's Cuts

Missouri Baptist University President R. Alton Lacey and MBU student Montez Brown's react to Governor Jay Nixon's latest budget cuts for higher education. Missouri Baptist University was the first Independent Institution in the state of Missouri to peacefully protest this legislation in March. Below is a gallery of photographs chronicling the efforts of more than 500 concerned MBU faculty, staff, students and parents who wrote hundreds of letters and made hundreds of cell phone calls in an effort to save Missouri scholarships for students who attend Independent Institutions.
