MBU to launch Master of Arts in Counseling at Lewis and Clark.
Missouri Baptist University at Lewis and Clark will begin offering courses toward the Master of Arts in Counseling (MAC) program come March.
The 48-to-54 credit hour program couples practical application and strong theoretical application in an effort to prepare students to work as a professional counselor in a variety of settings, including schools, governmental agencies and for-profit companies.
Students can complete the degree requirements in 2 to 3 years. The accredited program is designed for busy professionals, with eight-week, evening courses offered year round.
MBU will offer an information session about the MAC program on Jan 26 at 5:30 p.m. in Room 106 of Lewis and Clark’s Haskell Hall. MBU faculty, along with admissions and financial services representatives, will be available to field questions.
