ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
In order to study in the United States, you will need a non-immigrant student visa, otherwise known as an F-1 visa. To be granted an F-1 visa, you must appear at a US Embassy or other named location and present the required visa fee, your valid passport, a letter of acceptance, your financial documents and a Form I-20. To be issued an I-20, you must first be fully accepted (including your finances and your deposit) by Missouri Baptist University. In order to be considered for acceptance, ALL required forms and documents must be submitted in a timely manner for review by the Missouri Baptist University Undergraduate Admissions Committee and Office of International Student Services.

All International Undergraduate Students are required to take the total course load during their first two (2) semesters at MBU on the MAIN CAMPUS ONLY.
International Graduate Students must maintain a full-time student status (a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester) to remain in active status with USCIS.
International Scholarships
MBU does offer academic scholarships to international students just the same as if they were from the U.S. (Freshman are awarded by ACT/SAT score, transfers are awarded by GPA). Contact the Director of International Students to discuss other scholarships that may be available to you.

Missouri Baptist University is accredited by the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
Including residential and commuter students, there are 3,200 undergraduate students enrolled at the college. The ratio of faculty to student is 1:20, with the average class size of 25 students.
