July 21, 2008
Grammy-award winner Darlene Koldenhoven is set to take to the Missouri Baptist University stage Sept. 12 and Sept. 13 with a concert and vocal workshop.

Koldenhoven
Koldenhoven will open her two-hour concert Friday, Sept. 12 at 7:30 with songs from her No. 1 classical crossover/New Age CDs, "Infinite Voice" and "Heavenly Peace," featuring pieces from Stravinsky to Sting and her beautiful originals. After the intermission, Koldenhoven will pick up the tempo a bit by singing songs from her inspirational gospel/Contemporary Christian CD, "Free to Serve," backed by members of the Missouri Baptist University choirs.
On Saturday, Sept. 13 beginning at 1 p.m. Koldenhoven will lead a three-hour workshop aimed at assisting aspiring artists while helping those who are curious about both the music industry and how to become a better singer.
The workshop will reveal ways musicians can expand their range through an array of vocal techniques—from classical to pop. The workshop will also provide an insider’s info on how vocalists can better market themselves.
