As the Spring 2007 semester begins, two educators, both with storied careers and accomplished academic pursuits, have joined Missouri Baptist University’s faculty ranks.
Paula Bennett has joined the University’s Division of Fine Arts as Assistant Professor of Communications. For 25 years, Bennett has worked as a broadcast engineer at KSDK-TV Channel 5. In addition, Bennett has taught as an adjunct instructor at MBU since 2001. Bennett holds a B.S. in Education from Louisiana State University and a M.S. in Communications from University of Southern Mississippi.
Linda Vines has been appointed as an instructor of Human Services and Psychology. Vines brings a wealth of human services related experience to MBU’s Division of Behavioral Sciences. Most recently, Vines was employed as a social worker for Lutheran Family and Children’s Services where she specialized in child welfare. Vines holds a B.A. in Psychology and Business Administration from Missouri Baptist University and a Master of Social Work from St. Louis University.
