Hanging of the Green set for Nov. 28

Enter in the Christmas season this Tuesday, Nov. 28 at MBU’s time-honored Hanging of the Green celebration.
The free holiday event begins with the formal decoration of the MBU Christmas tree in the Pillsbury Chapel, followed by a reception and the annual MBU campus lighting in the Mabee Great Hall. The evening will interweave a host of Christmas performances by MBU’s ministry and performance groups in between readings of the Christmas story.
Immediately following, MBU’s annual Christmas Concert, which will include performances by Spirit Wing, Closer and Faithful, will feature a range of age-old Christmas carols and today’s holiday tunes.

Hanging of the Green: 6 p.m.
Spirit Wing/ Faithful/Closer Christmas Concert: 7:30 p.m.
Where:
MBU’s Pillsbury Chapel and Dale Williams Fine Arts Center, located a quarter mile west of the intersection of highways 270 and 40.
