Musical Theatre Workshop set for Nov. 18

World-renowned musical clinician Mary Saunders will lead a Musical Theatre Workshop this Saturday, Nov. 18 at Missouri Baptist University’s West Saint County campus.
Saunders, an associate professor of music and the head of voice instruction at Penn State University, maintains a studio in Manhattan for professional singers. A host of her students have performed in Broadway productions, including: Wicked, Little Shop of Horrors, Urinetown, Hairspray, The Producers, Kiss Me Kate, Seussical, The Musical, Cabaret, Follies, 42nd Street and Rent.
The St. Louis Chapter of National Association of Teachers of Singing is sponsoring the event.
Where
Missouri Baptist University’s Pillsbury Chapel and Dale Williams Fine Arts Center, located on the University’s main campus a quarter mile west of the intersection of highways 270 and 40.

Saturday, Nov. 18.
9:30 a.m. to noon: Teachers Workshop
1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.: Students Workshop
8 p.m.: Evening Showcase
Cost
$25 for teachers
$15 for students (afternoon events only)
$5 for attendees of Evening Showcase
