RE: MBU and L&C to Offer Informational Meetings
MBU and L&C to Offer Informational Meetings
November 1, 2006
Missouri Baptist University will hold two informational meetings Nov. 13 on Lewis and Clark Community College’s Godfrey, Ill. campus to answer questions regarding the two institutions’ recently announced partnership.
Beginning in Jan. 2007, Missouri Baptist University will offer six academic programs at L&C, leaders of both institutions announced Oct. 24. In addition, MBU and L&C have entered into a two-plus-two articulation, which provides students the means to transfer general education coursework attained at Lewis and Clark to MBU while still graduating in a timely manner.
The partnership, which will allow L&C students the opportunity to conveniently and affordably complete a post-associate’s degree from their Godfrey, Ill. campus, has the potential to greatly impact Eastern Illinois.
Specifically, MBU will offer baccalaureate courses for the following degree programs at L&C: accounting, business management, human services, administration of justice and sport management. In addition, the partnership will offer graduate-level courses leading to a master’s in business administration.
MBU/L&C Informational Meetings:
When: Nov. 13 at 1:30 and 6:30 p.m.
Where: L&C’s McPike Commons Area. L&C is located close to the Great River Road and Alton. The front of the main campus is easily seen from IL Route 111/US 67 North.
Who: Faculty members from each degree program, along with financial services representatives and the MBU registrar, will be available to field questions.
