More than 100 students attend MBU Fall Campus Visit Day

Marking the largest Fall Campus Visit Day in MBU history, more than 100 prospective students from around the United States participated in a hands-on morning Oct. 9 that yielded a sneak preview of life at MBU.
“Campus Visit Day provides students the unique opportunity to learn about MBU’s distinct culture,” said Terry Dale Cruse, MBU’s director of admissions. “It’s our hope that students leave Campus Visit Day with a clear understanding of MBU’s continual efforts to provide students with a quality education that interweaves its proven Christian emphasis and its unmatched academic programs.”

Students who attended the event, among other things, took part in performances by MBU’s premiere performance and ministry groups, toured the University’s West Saint Louis County campus and received information at the event’s Street Fair.
Two $1,000 scholarships were given at random to prospective students who applied for admission during the event. The students who received the scholarship are as follows:
• Cale Riggs of Ballwin, Mo.
• Kasi Kalb of Troy, Ill.
MBU’s Spring Campus Visit Day is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 15, 2007 from 9 a.m. to noon. That day will include a host of music auditions for prospective students, musical performances and an information fair.
