Auditions for Fiddler on the Roof set for Aug. 26 and 28
July 11, 2006
Missouri Baptist University’s Theatre Department is searching for a host of actors to appear in its fall musical, Fiddler On The Roof.
Located inside MBU’s Pillsbury Chapel and Dale Williams Fine Arts Center, community auditions will be held during the following times:
Children (ages eight to fifteen)—Aug. 26 from 1:30 to 4 p.m.
Adults (fifteen and older)—Aug. 28 from 6 to 10 p.m.
Actors should come prepared to sing sixteen bars of a musical theatre song. Songs from Fiddler On The Roof are welcomed and encouraged. To reserve an audition, please call (314) 744-5307 to sign up for a five-minute audition slot.
Fiddler On The Roof is set to debut at MBU on Nov. 10. Known for its infectious score of songs, like “If I were a Rich Man” and “Matchmaker, Matchmaker,” Fiddler has become one of the most famous stage musicals ever.
