Washington, Mo. Native receives MBU Trustee Scholarship

Andrew Ging, a senior at Washington High School, has received Missouri Baptist University’s full-tuition Trustee Scholarship.
“I’m extremely excited about attending Missouri Baptist University. I’ve never felt so ready to move on to something new, and I know that God will lead me to where I need to go and meet me there,” Andrew said.
In addition to a multitude of extra-curricular activities, Andrew scored a composite score of 30 on the ACT and is the president of the Washington High School Class of 2006.
A member at FBC Washington, Andrew has participated in numerous mission trips, served as a coordinator and worship leader, plays in a Christian rock group and volunteers with children’s Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. In addition, Andrew has participated in seven theatrical performances at Washington High School. He plans to major in Music or Worship Arts at MBU.
Recipients of MBU’s Trustee Scholarship must rank in the top three percent of their high school class, earn a cumulative high school GPA of 3.9 and maintain a 3.5 GPA during their undergraduate studies.
