Club A: An Evening of Vocal Jazz and So Much More

MBU’s premiere jazz group, Allusion, will attend the New York Vocal Jazz Festival this April. A portion of the proceeds raised at this year’s Club A will help curb the cost of the trip.
Join MBU’s premiere jazz performance group, Allusion, for an evening of cool instrumentals, soulful sounds and your favorite foot-tapping tunes from one of America’s most endeared styles of music.
The Sixth Annual Club A is set for Friday, March 31 and Saturday, April 1.
Allusion, comprised of eleven MBU students, offers an eclectic repertoire ranging from jazz standards to the contemporary sounds of jazz/rock fusion, from popular music to oldies, from blues to the gospel sound.
This year marks the tenth anniversary of Allusion. In honor of providing the Midwest with a decade of award-winning jazz music, this year’s Club A will feature MBU alumni and former Allusion members and the MBU Jazz Band.
Desserts and beverages will be served at the event.
A portion of the proceeds of the event will help defray the costs of Allusion’s trip to the New York Vocal Jazz Festival in April.
