RE: MBU Performs Alcott's Little Women
MBU Performs Alcott's Little Women
April 14, 2005
Over 800 guests attended the MBU production of Little Women April 7-10, 2005, at the Pillsbury Chapel and Dale Williams Fine Arts Center.
Based on one of the most beloved novels of our time, the MBU presentation of Little Women took a heartwarming look into the life of a New England mother and her four daughters during the trying times of the Civil War. The cast and crew included MBU students, faculty, and staff.
Sophomore communications major Kristin Brake made her acting debut as Marmie. “This was the first time I’ve ever done anything like this, and it was truly a wonderful experience,” Brake said. “Everyone from the costume designer to the technical crew made worked together to make it a professional production.”
Three multi-performance shows will be presented next year. Into the Woods will show November 10-13, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown will play January 20-22, 2006, and the spring production of Harvey will run March 23-26, 2006.
