RE: MBU Fall Campus Visit Day
MBU Fall Campus Visit Day
October 18, 2004
Missouri Baptist University faculty and staff mingled with prospective students and parents at the Fall Campus Visit Day on October 11, 2004.
Throughout the day, prospective students and their families enjoyed performances by MBU ministry and music groups, campus tours, a financial aid seminar, and a personal greeting from President R. Alton Lacey. In addition, campus groups, organizations, and academic divisions held an information fair where visitors could explore the University’s various academic and extracurricular possibilities.
When presented with a myriad of college choices and academic degree programs, the guidance of seasoned professors has proven to be priceless for prospective students. MBU faculty members were on hand throughout the entirety of the event to get acquainted and converse with students. “After talking with professors in the science division, I felt as if I had a good understanding of what would be required of me if I choose to major in biology at MBU,” said Lindbergh High School senior Brent Bradshaw.
MBU undergraduate enrollment has increased a record 14 percent each of the past two years and indications are strong that the fall 2005 year will reflect a continued interest in the University.
The next campus visit day will be held on Monday, January 17, 2005. For more information, please call the Office of Admissions toll-free at (877) 434-1115, or email admissions@mobap.edu.
